Age restrictions
Pottery painting is a great activity at any age and children are especially welcome at Clay Away, however all children must be accompanied by an adult to the following ratios: 1:1 for under fives, 1:2 for 5 - 6 year olds, 1:3 for 7 - 8 year olds, 1:5 for 9 - 10 year olds, 1:8 for 11 - 15 year olds.
Accompanying adults are responsible for the behavior of the children they are supervising. (Unruly children will be asked to leave)
All the equipment and glazes that Clay Away supplies are safe and non-toxic, however, accompanying adults must take responsibility for the safety of the children they are supervising ensuring they do not stray from designated 'pottery-painting' areas.
